With a lot of new movies and TV shows arriving each week, you might be wondering why there’s not a full-length documentary on Hanois most beloved city.
But in an interview with Anime Maru, Hanoil TV’s executive producer and co-founder, Shigehiro Hirasawa, confirmed that there will be a series of mini-docuements and other content to celebrate the city’s rich history and culture.
Hirasawaki said the Hanoii-centric content will include a new anime and manga series, and a special series of shorts focusing on the culture and history of Hano.
“There’s no reason not to do this, because we’re passionate about Hano,” he said.
“And I think people who are interested in this place, whether they’re locals or not, are going to find something here.”
HanoimetTV will be able to stream the Haoi TV series in English and Japanese, and the series will be available on a variety of platforms, including Hulu and Netflix.
There’s no word yet on when the next Hanoime series will premiere, but it will likely be sometime this year, when the city celebrates its 50th anniversary.
“It’s an amazing city and people love to visit, but we can’t do this forever,” Hirasabe said.
“[The show] will give us an opportunity to see Hano on a more intimate level.”
